Feeling Better. August 12. Rye Beach Pharmacy / 464 Forest Avenue. Property Check. Observed a dark colored sedan leave the pharmacy parking lot with its lights off. exterior secure, no vehicles observed on premise. extra patrol for remainder of tour.
Props to PB1. August 12. Long Island Sound. Inlet off Forest Avenue / Pine Island. Vessel In Distress. Caller reported that there is a boat stuck on the rocks in the inlet behind 859 Forest Ave and Pine Island. PB1 dispatched. Non-Emergency Call. CALL TAKER HANDLED EVENT. Navigation Accident. Received a call from headquarters of a vessel on the rocks in the Pine Island inlet. Responded to find said vessel floating and not on the rocks. There were no injuries and damage to the prop and rudder. we assisted the captain in tying the vessel to a nearby dock until Seatow could respond. An accident report will be done.
Grilled. August 12. Rye Grill and Bar / 1 Station Plaza. Disorderly Conduct. Report of a disturbance IFO Rye Grill. Bar restaurant closed. Large group of 20 to 30 ppl finishing drinks. All dispersed area without further incident.
Bio Breaking the Law? August 13. CVS / 1121 Boston Post Road. Rules Of The Road. At above time place of occurrence observed vehicle traveling slowly north bound US1 and Rectory St. Vehicle did pull into CVS parking lot when i observed rear passenger exit the vehicle looking or hiding in the front entrance of CVS. When i initiated my spotlight and emergency light individual came out and stated he had to pee.

Halfway to Trouble. August 15. Apawamis Club / 2 Club Road. Neighborhood Trouble. HARRISON PD REPORTS A GROUP OF 20-25 YOUTHS THAT RAN FROM THE WILLOW RIDGE PROPERTY ONTO THE PROPERTY OF APAWAMIS CLUB. THEY FURTHER STATE THAT THE YOUTHS MAY HAVE ENTERED THE HALFWAY HOUSE OF THE APAWAMIS CLUB. backed 10 98. 11 BACKED. area checked. no one observed in area.

Doggone Good News. August 17. Forest Avenue / Parsonage Point. Dog Complaint. caller found a lost dog. checked with neighborhood residents. Unable to find owner. 84 rye harrison vet office for chip scan. __ stuyvesant ave – owner. Salina – dog name. __ Parsonage Pt – dog sitter. Dog reunited with sitter.
