Rye Girls Varsity Squash brought a rip tide to the Darien Blue Wave. The Garnets crashed down for a 6-1 win over Darien.
“Although sophomore Ella Erickson won in convincing straight games (3-0) her match against Darien’s number 1 was some of the most exciting squash of the evening,” said Rye Girls Varsity Squash Coach Tony Campbell. “Freshman Abby Roberson pulled out a tight 5 game match at number 4.”
Rye remains unbeaten and in first place in the Fairwest Girls league and holds a 7-2 season record. The Garnets compete at Street Squash on Saturday at 10am.
