Girls Varsity Softball Climbs Over Byram Hills
Rye Girls Varsity Softball climbed over Byram Hills on Saturday, winning 18 – 3.
“In the 1st Round of the Westlake “Have a Heart” Tournament, we defeated Byram Hills 18 to 3 in 5 innings,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “It was a great team effort and everyone contributed to the win. Penelope Gilmore got the win and was helped out by Dylan Deertz (3 for 4), Ashley Kessner (3 for 4), Erin Ball (3 for 3), and Ava Rollano (3 for 4, inside the park Grand Slam). Zoe Lien was also 3 for 3 in the win.”
