Lock Your Cars & Homes – Rye PD

This is the City of Rye Police with a safety advisory. Our community along with surrounding jurisdictions are experiencing an increase in larcenies from motor vehicles during the overnight hours. So far the suspects have only targeted unlocked vehicles. Please be sure to lock your vehicles, remove keys and keep all valuables out of sight. Additionally, an unlocked home was entered during the overnight and several items were removed, please be sure to lock all access points to your residence. Contact the police department immediately with any suspicious activity. Thank you.
