The Rye Boys Golf Team picked up another victory on Tuesday, May 6, defeating Byram Hills 200-221. A young Garnets lineup outshined a more balanced Bobcats unit to clinch the team’s fourth consecutive win.
“Today we got consistent scoring with a lineup made up of five ninth graders and one sophomore,” Head Coach Pat Romano told MyRye.com.
The youth movement came through for Romano, whose team has a 9-1-1 record through eleven matches. Ryan Mascali led the way with a score of 38, just two over par.
The Garnets continue to thrive in 2025, and will look to make it five straight wins in their next match on Thursday, May 8. The team hosts Tappan Zee at Rye Golf Club for a 3:20pm start.
