How long has your business been in Rye, and where are you located?

Stahlmann: Since October of 2025. We are located at 80 Purchase Street.

Why did you originally choose Rye for your business?

Stahlmann: In part because the market is affluent and surrounded by lots of other great areas, and also because I knew my wife and daughter would love living here.

Is this your sole location, or do you have multiple locations?

Stahlmann: We have multiple locations but this is the only location in the Northeast.

Describe your clientele.

Stahlmann: We have a wide ranging clientele. Everyone from finance workers and lawyers, to your average gentleman who saved up for a custom suit for his wedding. Overall, our clients do tend to be quite affluent due to the nature of bespoke suiting but plenty of middle and lower income people save up to get one nice suit.

Describe the environment in your store.

Stahlmann: I designed the store to be a place where one would want to hang out, relax, and have a drink. The store is classy, manly, and cozy.

Tell us about what you offer.

Stahlmann: We offer bespoke garments built from the first stitch for the individual client. From suits and tuxedos, to shirts and jeans. We work with clients one on one to understand what they need and how they want to portray themselves, and we design a wardrobe to fulfill those needs.

Tell us about you.

Stahlmann: My career actually started out in graphic design where I cut my teeth for 10 years before deciding I needed to get out from behind a desk. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do next until I got my first custom suit made for my wedding. I immediately fell in love with suiting and fashion and asked my clothier for an apprenticeship. As a stylist, I understand the rules of suiting and design but also relish the opportunity to break the rules if it makes sense for my client and helps them to portray themselves vividly, honestly, and in a way that suits them. My wife, 4 year old daughter, and I live walking distance from the storefront in Rye.

Tell us the best time during the week to come into your store.

Stahlmann: We are open Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-7pm. Earlier in the week is usually less busy but the best way to guarantee your time is to schedule an appointment.

Thanks Seth!
