The Rye Volleyball team won their third consecutive match on Tuesday, September 22, as they overcame Nanuet in four sets. The Garnets dropped the opening set 21-25, but began to find a very strong offensive rhythm from there, winning the next three 25-14, 25-16, and 25-18.
Multiple Garnets set new season high watermarks in kills. Audre Campbell notched 15 to go along with 3 services aces and 3 blocks. Katie Hillis had her strongest game with 15 kills and 10 digs, good for the double-double. The always steady Giorgia Brizio racked up 14 kills and two aces.
Fresh off earning All-Tournament team honors at the Yorktown jamboree over the weekend, setter Amelie Modesto dished out a season-high 44 assists. Defensively, Margo Ehrenberg stepped up nicely with 19 digs.
