As of 10:30 pm Tuesday, Election Day evening, the Westchester County Board of Elections is reporting no ballots from Election Day due to the ballot snafu today. It is expected it could be until early tomorrow until Election Day ballots are counted and reported.

Early voting and absentee ballots are available and have been reported. Looking at the most local elections impacting the city of Rye, three of the four are uncontested. And the fourth is so lopsided for Senator Shelley Mayer, the outcome is clear.

Here is where things stand as of 10:30 pm on Election Day evening (again, no election day ballots are included in these counts):

1. UNCONTESTED Rye City Councilmember, unexpired term — vote for one

2. UNCONTESTED Westchester County Legislator, 7th District — vote for one

3. UNCONTESTED State Assembly Member, 91st District — vote for one

  • Steven Otis — Democratic, Working Families
    • 99.64% (10,162 votes)
    • Write-in 00.36% (37 votes)
