Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse put Scarsdale in the hutch 13-4 at an away game on Friday afternoon. The Rye’s goals were scored by Ellie Hedges, Lilly Whaling, Cassidy Pagen, and Della Goodman. Goalie Sophie Brett had five saves.
“We played a very well-rounded game against Scarsdale,” said Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach Michelle Mason. Our defense was cohesive and executed our game plan. Offensively, we once again showed our depth and had key players contribute multiple points to show their reliability.”
The team’s season moves to 2-0.
Varsity is scheduled to compete at Pelham Saturday at 12:30pm.
