Rye Girls Varsity Softball was put in the saw mill by Ardsley on Saturday, falling at home 3-9.
“We fell behind a bit early in the game and battled the entire game but couldn’t get any breaks,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “We rallied in the last inning, but it wasn’t enough. The team fought hard and never gave up.”

- Malena Santia was q for 4 with 2 Rbi
- Millie Brooks was 1 for 3 with a RS
- Tessa Labovitz was 1 for 3 with a double
The season shifts to 4-3. The Garnets play again at 12pm Monday vs. Eastchester.
