Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse corralled the Mamaroneck Tigers at Nugent Stadium on Tuesday with a 14 – 8 win.
“The Garnets got on a roll tonight and didn’t look back!,” said Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach Michelle Mason. “We had 9 offensive contributors and our defensive unit executed our game plan. Our draw team was dominant in the first half giving the Garnets possessions that transferred to goals. We kept our foot on the gas and shined in our transition and ride. Today’s win over Mamaroneck secures our 5-0 record in league play! We close out our regular season on the road Thursday at Nyack!”
