Rye Varsity Swimming & Diving made waves on Wednesday, winning their match versus Byram Hills-Briarcliff-Pleasantville-Valhalla- Westlake 53 – 49.
“The swim team as a whole did a great job winning races tonight,” said Rye Varsity Swimming & Diving Coach Katie Konopka. “Rye Neck swimmer Ayana Ite won the 200 free and 500 free. Blind Brook’s Sydney Goldberg won the 100 Fly. Rye’s Kate Chesley won the 100 Backstroke.”
The team is now 1 – 1. The next match is versus Suffern at 4:30pm Friday.
