Patricia Ann Touri of Old Orchard Beach, Maine passed away on Thursday, October 5th at St Andre’s Health Care in Biddeford, Maine. She was 77 years old. Pat is survived by her three children Gerald Marchesi, Tara Kohlmyer, and Mark Marchesi.
Originally from Rye, NY, Pat attended Resurrection School and spent most of her career in the marketing industry. She loved animals and often volunteered fostering rescue cats. Pat enjoyed being on the water or by the pool, and adored spending time crafting and doing activities with her grandchildren.
In Maine, Pat continued doing volunteer work with her certified therapy dog and discovered a new passion for marine life. She became involved with University of New England’s Marine Animal Rehabilitation program, and found purpose in helping rescue, rehab, and release baby seals along the coast of Maine.
A memorial service will be held at Resurrection Church in Rye, NY on October 21st at 10am, followed by a burial of ashes at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle. The family welcomes donations in Pat’s name to Marine Mammals of Maine.
