Rye Boys Varsity Football took the lost ark away from the Raiders of Port Jervis on Saturday. The Garnets polished the Raiders 28-14 at Goshen High School in Goshen, New York to become regional champs and continue the team’s post season advance.
“The Garnet Offense and Defense came through with another outstanding team performance, establishing a 28-0 lead into the 4th quarter,” said Rye Boys Varsity Football Coach Dino Garr. “This type of precision and execution will be needed next week against Ravena, our next opponent in the NYS semifinal game in Middletown, NY. I and the coaching staff are very thankful for being able to share this Thanksgiving gift as a Garnet family.”
