Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse caused pain to Suffern on Saturday, winning the away game 11 – 6.

“Mary Sack and Lilly Whaling were awarded One Love All Tournament honors,” said Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach Michelle Mason. “Goalies Karenna Chader and Katherine Ebeling had great games in between the pipes.”

It was a major team victory against perennial class A powerhouse Suffern at the One Love Tournament hosted at Nyack High School. The Garnets got started fast, pulling away with a 4-0 lead and not looking back for the remainder of the game. The Garnets have a big week ahead with three homes games vs Wilton on 4/16, Scarsdale on 4/19 (first league game), and Ridgefield on 4/20.
