In Memory: Ann M. Pike, Age 65

Obituary - Ann PikeIt is with deep sorrow that we announce that Ann M. Pike, a cherished member of the community, passed away on April 4, 2024, at Westchester Medical Center surrounded by her family.

The daughter of Francis and Marie Madden, Ann was born in Mineola, NY and raised in Floral Park, NY. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Hempstead, NY and Fairfield University. She started her career at NatWest PLC and then enjoyed success in sales at Xerox Corporation. After starting a family, Ann became a real estate agent at Merritt Associates before joining Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty in Rye.

Ann married the love of her life, Dana Pike, and celebrated their 37th anniversary this past November. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children and their spouses: Lauren Peek (Woody), Connor (Betsy) and Matthew (Elizabeth – Ann hopes), along with her brother, Frank Madden (Marilyn).

In addition to being a great wife and mother, Ann was the best “Gram” ever to her two grandsons, Colin Peek (2 years) and Hunter Peek (2 weeks). She was an overly enthusiastic nanny, world-class lullaby singer and monster truck aficionado.

Ann was a devout Catholic and very involved at The Church of the Resurrection. She was actively involved in Walking with Purpose, The Outreach Program, and held countless volunteer positions at the Grammar School including being the president or chairperson of the PTO, Midnight Run, Brown Bag Project and Christmas Fair to name a few.

Ann will be remembered for her abundance of kindness, enduring spirit, and fierce love for her family. She will be deeply missed by her family and countless friends.

The family will be honoring Ann’s life at the Graham Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 9th between 4 pm and 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Church of the Resurrection on Wednesday, April 10th at 10 am. A reception will follow at The Apawamis Club.
