Report: Former Rye City Manager Hired by New Rochelle
According to a report by Robert Cox of Talk of the Sound, a local New Rochelle web site, discraced and former Rye City Manager Scott Pickup has been hired by the city of New Rochelle as Deputy Commissioner of Public Works in charge of Operations.
Pickup left his Rye job this past summer in the wake of the Rye Golf Club scandal and has vacated his home on Osborn Road.
Cox was tiped to the story because of repeated FOIL requests by former Rye cop Tim Chittenden. Chittenden has long been a rabble-rouser who has been enmeshed in scandal himself.
