Local Scouts Rye Troop 2, 115 years old, now has its 100th Eagle Scout.

Mark Pellegrini had his Eagle Court of Honor on Saturday, January 3, 2026 with local dignitaries in attendance. Pellegrini was honored by Westchester County proclaiming “ Mark Pellegrini day” for January 9, 2026. His Eagle project was finding and mapping all the more than 2,200 veteran graves at Greenwood Union Cemetery.

Only 4% of scouts achieve Eagle Scout status.
