The city council’s agenda for its meeting at 7:00pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 is out. The Council will convene at 6:30pm and adjourn into executive session to discuss acquisition of personnel matters, potential acquisition of property and litigation. - Completely Rotten. Approval of a request from the Rye Sustainability Committee to host a Compost Giveback Day on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Disbrow Park near the Food Scrap Recycling area, where Rye residents may collect free compost.

- You Should be Going Native. Approval of a proclamation declaring March 26, 2026 as Mayors’ Monarch Pledge Day in the City of Rye.
- Flood of Cooperation. Approval of a resolution supporting an Inter-Municipal Cooperative Approach with the Village of Mamaroneck, Town of Rye and the Town of Harrison for flood mitigation on and around the Mamaroneck River and Beaver Swamp Brook.
