The Rye Football team wraps up the 2026 regular season in Week 7 tomorrow night, as the Garnets travel to Clarkstown North. Rye enters the contest at 4-3, still fighting for playoff seeding.

For other pregame coverage, be sure to check out our recent feature on the history of Rye Football and our interview with head coach Dino Garr, a Rye Lifer.

For the game preview, we turn to the Steve “The OG” Feeney, the voice of Garnet football:

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23 – RYE GARNETS @ CLARKSTOWN NORTH RAMS – 6:00PM

Hi-Ho-Hi-Ho, its off to Clarkstown again we go for the second time this season, only this time it’s to the North and not to the South. The Garnets cross the Tappan Zee Bridge to butt horns with the CLARKSTOWN NORTH RAMS, recent refugees from Section One – Class AA. It seems the Purple and Gold and their sisters, the Clarkstown South Vikings, keep yoyoing annually between Class AA and Class A due to the vagaries of high school student enrollment statistics.

Not to be taken lightly, particularly when defending home field turf, the Rams are having an exceptional season. While the Garnets hold the historical upper hand versus North at 4-0-0 1.000, Rye must quickly put the Harrison result in the rear-view mirror and move their concentration to the Rams.

31-17 sounds about right.

SPAM THE RAMS     CRAM THE RAMS     JAM THE RAMS     BAM THE RAMS     CLAM THE RAMS     DAMN THE RAMS
