Early voting is available until this Sunday, November 6, 2022. Rye residents can vote anywhere in Westchester County that is offering early voting. There are no locations for early voting within the City of Rye, but there are nearby locations in Mamaroneck, Harrison, and Rye Brook. To vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2022, vote at your assigned City of Rye polling place only.

Locally GOP nominee Matt Fahey and Dem nominee Lori Fontanes are running to serve the final year of Richard Mecca’s four year council term. Emily Hurd has been serving since January after Mecca resigned for health reasons. Mecca passed away in the spring. You can watch their debate online.

Both Rye guys NY State Assemblyman Steve Otis and County Executive George Latimer have been reminding folks to “flip it over” and vote on Prop 1, the environmental bond act.
