Garnet Football Polishes the Golden Knights

Rye Boys Varsity Football polished the Nanuet Golden Knights Thursday at Nugent Stadium 28 – 2. It’s the second consecutive win for the Garnets.

“Tonight’s game was another outstanding team effort for both the offense and defense,” said Rye Boys Varsity Football Coach Dino Garr. “Our offensive line continued to create holes for the ground game and protection for our passing game. The backs ran hard and blocked well, paving the way for 28 points in the first half. Defense shut done a potent Nanuet offense with aggressive tackling and team play. Another total team effort will be needed against the two-time sectional champions Pleasantville Panthers next Friday.”
