Carmela Marie Gianguzzi, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on Independence Day in 1935, in the Bronx, NY, her life was a testament to the enduring spirit of family, community, and entrepreneurship.
In a loving partnership with her late husband, Lawrence Gianguzzi, Carmela co-owned and operated Gann Realty. Together, they built not just a business, but a legacy of integrity and commitment to their clients.
Carmela’s most cherished role was that of a mother to her daughters, Kathleen Gerety and Laurie Gianguzzi. A loving grandmother to Kaitin Gerety and devoted sister to Ralph Mingini, Adele Morton and Katie French.
As we bid farewell to Carmela, we honor a life beautifully lived and a woman deeply loved. Her memory will forever be cherished as a source of inspiration and joy.
The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Resurrection on Thursday at 10 AM.
