The Rye Volleyball Team fell to 3-2 on the season on Monday, losing in straight sets, three to nothing, to Pearl River in an away contest. The Garnets struggled to get their offense going against the Pirates all game despite the team’s best efforts.

Ashley Dehmer led the way once again with 13 assists from her setting position, with 6 of those going to Erin Ball. Behind Ball, Anna Nolasco had five kills, with Phoebe Greto adding three. Greto shined with four blocks in the losing effort, while Nolasco recorded four digs in her own right.

The Garnets (3-2) are back in action on Wednesday, September 18, vs Henry Hudson. The game is set for 5:00pm at the Sailors’ High School gymnasium. Watch it here.
