In what will be the 65th renewal of a football series minted in the 1920s, fellow SWIAC (Southern Westchester Interscholastic Athletic Conference) and CWL (Central Westchester League) charter member, the EASTCHESTER EAGLES rank 2nd to only Harrison in all-time number of games played versus the Garnets.
Rye and the Navy and Scarlet pecked each other for five decades from 1938 to 1987. Only twice since 1984 have the Eagles soared to victory, and 2024 will not be the third. The current Garnets bring the big bird down once more. The stick-constructed rookery ledger currently stands at 50-12-2 (.781).
