Gina DeCarlo, 68, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on October 24, 2023 surrounded by family. She was born on April 11, 1955 in Greenwich, CT to Anthony DeCarlo and Grace Zappulla DeCarlo. Gina was married on July 29, 1989 to Michael Billington of Rye, NY. She was known for her kindness, intelligence and enduring love for her family and friends. Every Sunday, you could find her working on the New York Times crossword puzzle. Her weeknights were reserved for Jeopardy, a testament to her vast knowledge and quick wit. She had a great love for antiques and was a skilled chess and backgammon player, she was always ready for a friendly match. Her greatest joy came from cooking for her family and friends. She was a master in the kitchen, creating delicious meals that brought everyone together.
Gina is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Billington, with whom she shared 43 years with. She is also survived by her son Max Billington and his wife Jenna, her daughter Emily Billington and her husband Anthony Labarta, grandchildren Mia, Jason, and Lydia, sisters Eva DeCarlo and Gioia DeCarlo, brother in laws Jeffrey Billington and Matthew Billington and his wife Darbi and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY on Monday October 30, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
