Spear Fishing Prohibited in Rye

No spear fishing.

Sure, you could get your kids a Wii or take them to Disney World. But you really wanted to get them a spear for spear fishing. No dice.

According to this sign at Rye Town Park (make sure you are sitting down…) there is no spear fishing allowed in Rye.
