In Memory: Stephen DeMarco Jr., Age 67
Stephen DeMarco, Jr., 67, of Deerfield Beach, Florida passed away on November 23, 2020 at Boca Raton Regional Hospital surrounded by loving family.
Originally from Rye, NY, Steve was the eldest child of Stephen and Doris DeMarco. He attended Resurrection Grammar School, Rye High School, and Roger Williams College in Rhode Island. Steve then relocated to Florida to assist his parents. He found his passion helping those in need and worked as the admissions director for the Watershed in Delray, where co-workers became like family.
A long standing Deerfield Beach resident, Steve could be found snorkeling, or surfing the beach, taking his dog on long walks, visiting Vizcaya, or riding his motorcycle during his 30 plus years there. Known for his ear to ear grin and keen sense of humor, Stevie is deeply missed.
He is predeceased by his father and survived by his mother, Doris, siblings, Dawn (Pierro), Guy, and Michael, nieces and nephews, Michelle, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Alene, Guy Jr., Jessica,and Michael, and great nieces and nephews. Services will be held in Rye, NY and he will be interred at Greenwood Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
