Wilmington – On Thursday, January 14, 2021, Peter Allison Van Bomel passed away at the age of 71 due to Covid-19. Born in Rye, New York.
Peter attended Rye Country Day School and graduated in 1970 from Hoosac Prep School in Hoosic, NY. Peter moved to Florida where he attended St. Petersburg College and Pinellas Technical School to advance his knowledge in electronics.
In the 1980s, Peter relocated to Wilmington Delaware, where he met his wife of 20 years, Gretchen. Peter was contracted to EI Dupont as a maintenance/safety engineer for over 22 years.
Peter was predeceased by his wife Gretchen. He is survived by two brothers, David, Wilmington, Delaware and Robert, Clearwater, Florida. A memorial service will be held in Pete’s honor at a later date.
