Rye Girls Varsity Soccer fell to New Hartford in Final Four tournamentĀ semi final match Saturday, November 16, 2024 with the finalĀ 2 – 1 New Hartford.
Rye would took a 1 – 0 lead in the first half with a goal coming from Mary Ebeling and assist from Shira Rand (here is the Rye goal from the game). New Hartford broke through with a game tying goal with just 17 minutes left in the game, and then found the back of the net again with 13 minutes left of the game.
“Rye had a tremendous run this season and should feel proud of their accomplishments,” said Head Coach Rich Savage after the game.
