The Rye Historical Society annual Spring Luncheon and Boutique at the Shenorock Shore Club on Thursday, May 7, 2026 raised over $30,000. Funds will support museum and educational programming and special events. The lunch featured New York Times best-selling author Allison Pataki, who discussed her new book, The It Girl. This historical fiction novel is based on the life of Evelyn Nesbit, Americaâs first âIt Girlâ, a model and actress who became a self-made celebrity in early 20th century New York City.
