The “Rye’sAbove” butterfly project, announced this past March, debuted on the village green last Wednesday.
The medium and large butterflies will be on display throughout the summer on the green and twenty five small butterflies will be displayed at Rye businesses until September.
An online auction for the butterflies will raise funds to benefit the educational and scholarship programs of The Rye Rotary and Rye Arts Center.
