Thomas Beaton was born on July 27th, 1929, in Rye, New York to parents Leslie and Mabel Beaton. The family lived at 9 Halls Lane. Thomas was a lifetime Rye resident.

Thomas attended Milton Elementary School and graduated from Rye High School in 1948. In high school, he was a member of the Library Club, the Camera Club, and Stage Crew. He went on to study at Becker Junior College in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he was a member of the Alpha Omicron Fraternity. He married Joan Wagonner.
Thomas served in the Korean War for three years with the United States Coast Guard in Boston, Massachusetts. Following his service, he tragically passed away at the young age of 41 at United Hospital. More on Beaton.
