The city council's agenda for May 5, 2010 is out. See you at 8pm at the Square House. Every Spring the council holds one meeting at the Square House to acknowledge the historical importance of the Square House to both Rye and American history. Typically many local dignitaries turn out for this special event.
The meeting will be preceded by a Mayor’s Roundtable at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will move from the Square House to Council Chambers in City Hall at approximately 8:45 p.m. It is anticipated that the Council will adjourn into Executive Session following the meeting to discuss personnel matters.
We are unsure if the annual Square House portion of the meeting will be televised but you can certainly see the remainder on Cablevision Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 39. We'll also see you on the Internet (next day) at http://rye.peg.tv.

as a use in the B-1 District. - Throw the Book at 'Em. Resolution to grant permission to the Rye Free Reading Room to hold a kickoff event for the Summer Reading program entitled “Flow Circus” on the Village Green on Monday, June 28, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Can We Have Class Outside? Discussion of Resolution to establish a Rye Town Park Advisory Committee.
- Smelly Prize. Bid Award for Dogwood Lane sewer (Bid #4-10).
