In a follow-up to the school lockdown yesterday, Rye PD reported last night the bad guy was apprehended. No other details were available:
"Advisory: Followup to earlier messages: suspect has been apprehended and in custody of State Police. We thank the public for your assistance.
As a followup to today's earlier messages, the suspect being sought this afternoon has been apprehended and is in the custody of the New York State Police. We thank the public for your assistance in this incident."
