September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance has taken place every September 11th since 2002. This effort first established the inspiring tradition of engaging in charitable service on 9/11 as an annual and forward-looking tribute to the 9/11 victims and survivors.
For a third year, the Rye Professional Firefighters Local 2029 and the Rye Fire Department will hold a free Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) class for members of the public who have never received CPR education before.
What better way to give back to your community than to learn a skill that could one day save someone's life. Space is limited, please visit Local 2029 for more information and sign up.
In order to sign-up you must meet the following criteria:
- Have not taken a CPR class in the last 5 years.
