The Rye PD is warning of flooding Friday. “Please be advised the brook is beginning to crest and there is flooding in the Highland Hall parking lot,” the Rye PD said in a communication sent to residents. “High tide is at 12:13 pm today. Please avoid standing water and flood prone areas.”
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for the area until 12 noon today as well. It reports between 1-2 inches of rain have fallen and 1-2 inches of additional rain are expected at a rate of one inch an hour.
