Rye Boys Varsity Football enjoyed a successful fox hunt Friday evening. The Garnets put Foxlane to bed with a winning score of 21-7.
“The Defensive unit showed another outstanding effort shutting out the Foxes until the last 2 minutes. This effort was led by Chris Guazzo, Chris Iuliano, Gio Cavatoni, Shep Griffiths, and Rafferty McSweeney with an interception,” said Rye Boys Varsity Football Coach Dino Garr. “On the Offensive side, Tommy Richardson had many tough carries for yardage as well as a touchdown. Gio Cavatoni had a touchdown and Dalton Boisseau opened the second half with a long touchdown reception from AJ Miller.”
Watch the fox hunt. The Garnets are now 5-0 as they head to “The Game”. Varsity will host the 4-1 Harrison Huskies next Saturday at Nugent Stadium for a 1:30pm start (watch it).
