Rye Boys Varsity Football left the Sleepy Hollow Horsemen headless on Saturday afternoon. The Garnets polished a decisive victory 33 – 0 before returning across I-287.
“The Garnets were victorious in their final regular season game against Sleep Hollow, with a score of 33-0,” said Rye Boys Varsity Football Coach Dino Garr. “All parts of the team played well, including a field goal attempt by Sleepy Hollow that was blocked by Owen Saya and returned for a touchdown by Jack Acciavatti. This was a great team effort in preparation for the playoffs, which start this coming Friday night at Rye against Nyack.”
