The 11-Day Pre-General campaign finance filings submitted to the NY State Board of Elections on October 24, 2025 provide the final look at how Rye’s three competing slates are fundraising ahead of the November 4 election.

All three committees show strong local donor support, but Henderson and his All in for Rye ticket enters the home stretch with the most dry powder – over twice the cash of Nathan and four times that of McCabe:

Candidate Opening Balance Contributions Misc Receipts Total Receipts Total Expenses Closing Balance
Henderson All In For Rye $30,603.30 $7,067.00 $0.00 $7,067.00 $5,968.88 $31,701.42
McCabe McCabe for Rye $3,831.22 $5,910.00 $2,500.00 $8,410.00 $4,656.70 $7,584.52
Nathan Nathan Anderson Kesavan and Ward for Rye $8,615.52 $9,955.00 $0.00 $9,955.00 $5,187.67 $13,382.85

The current filings show activity through October 20. The prior filing deadline was on October 3 (see Rye Mayoral Race: Henderson Leads in Fundraising, Spending).

McCabe for Rye (Ind.)

Overview:

McCabe raised $5,910 in the period, at the back of the pack. He faces headwinds as a sole independent with no party structure or running mates. His expenditures were $4,656.70 in the period for a net cash flow +$1,253.30.

Local giving is extremely concentrated from 10580 at 94% of receipts. Notable is the $12,137.26 of total loans from the candidate to the campaign documented.

Notable donors:

  • $1,000 each from Margaret Cameron and James Glickenhaus (married couple and Cameron is a former Rye Democratic party head and a supporter of current Mayor Josh Cohn);
  • $1,000 from Tyler Page;
  • $500 from Niamh Alexander;
  • additional $250–$500 gifts (e.g., David Kmetz, Brad Somma, P. Mackenzie Hurd, Nathan Pearson).

Top expenditures: Fort Orange Press (literature) ($2,237.40), In the Rye Media ($2,050), JMT Campaign Services (bookkeeping) ($250), plus Anedot fees ($117) and minimal bank costs.

Takeaway: McCabe’s filing reflects an advertising and literature close underwritten almost entirely by Rye donors.

Nathan, Anderson, Kesavan & Ward for Rye

Nathan raised $9,955 this period – the strongest late-period raise among the three. Expenditures were $5,187.67 for a net cash flow +$4,767.33. Local contributions dominate from 10580 (96% of receipts).

Notable donors:

  • five $1,000 gifts (e.g., Melinda Stein, Thomas Tobin, Michael Konicoff, Kevin Brown, Maria Ragucci);
  • $500 donors (e.g., David Cutner, Joni Alexopoulos);
  • a bench of $150–$300 contributors.

Top Expenditures: Rose Press (literature) ($4,612.66), Stripe/ActBlue processing ($375 combined), and a treasurer stipend to Raymond Sculky ($200).

Takeaway: Late momentum and a deep local donor bench fuel a big literature push. The Rose Press outlay implies sizable print quantities or multiple pieces.
