Rye Schools to Host White Plains Hospital Pop-up Vaccination Clinic
The Rye City School District has been chosen by White Plains Hospital to serve as a pop-up clinic site to administer the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to students on Friday, May 21, during the school day, with the second dose to follow on Friday, June 11.
The Pfizer vaccine is currently approved for children ages 16+, but there is the distinct possibility it will be approved for use in ages 12-15 by May 21.
White Plains Hospital has asked the district to gauge parent interest in students receiving the vaccine. If you are interested in having your RHS, RMS, and/or 5th-grade student (age 12 or above) vaccinated on May 21/June 11, the District requests you to complete one of these Google forms for each of your children.
For those community members aged 16+ who are ready to be vaccinated sooner and are willing to go to Valhalla, please find this registration link for a clinic on May 11.
