Girls Varsity Softball Stalks the Panthers
Rye Girls Varsity Softball stalked the Panthers of Walter Panas on Wednesday, winning at home 8 – 1.
“Freshman Caroline Joyce earned her 1st Varsity Win,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “She pitched a complete game, 7 inning and allowed 6H 0ER 4BB 6Ks. She was also 2 for 4 with two 2B and an Rbi. Caroline pitched a great game and we were able to get timely hitting. Freshman Penelope Gilmore got her 1st Varsity HR in the game as well. It was a great team win.”
