UPDATE (2:30pm Monday): Midland Avenue is clear and open again. Rye PD reported the tractor trailer appeared to be overloaded carrying paint.
Rye PD is warning residents to stay away from Midland Avenue Northboard at the intersection of Peck Avenue. Many residents use the thoroughfare to head into Port Chester or enter the I-95 Northbound ramp.
Rye PD has closed the area Monday morning, May 27, 2024 around 11:00am for an undetermined amount of time due to an overloaded tractor trailer.
