A 19-year-old New Jersey man was charged this week in connection to a burglary and vandalism spree that occurred at Playland just over one month ago. Anthony Conkling, 19, surrendered to Westchester County Police detectives on November 6, 2025, and was booked on the following charges: Burglary in the Third Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree (felonies), and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree and Petit Larceny (misdemeanors).

Conkling is being arrested on accusations that he was one of the three men who entered Playland Park on the night of September 23 and committed a total of an estimated $57,000 worth of damage through vandalism of property and theft. He was arraigned in Rye City Court on November 6 and released, due back on November 25.

Two other suspects have also been identified by detectives from the General Investigations Unit, the County PD reports. These men, a 19-year-old and 20-year-old, are supposedly expected to surrender in the coming days.
