The Rye Softball team fell to Ursuline on Tuesday, April 21, losing 12-1. The Garnets only mustered three hits against Koalas pitching and were unable to dig themselves out of an early hole.

The lone run for Rye came courtesy of an RBI double from Penelope Gilmore. Ava Rollano also doubled and Gigi Gilmore singled up the middle to account for Rye’s offense.

Rye (1-6) will look to avoid a fifth consecutive loss in their next game at home against Pelham on Thursday, April 23. First pitch is set for 4:30pm against the Pelicans.
