Metro North trains were operating again around 12:30pm after suspicious activity at the Rye train station. There was at least one report – by Clever Commute – of a land mine being cleared by a robot.

Since we have commuters on virtually every train in the region, we will generally be the first / best reporters…and such was the case yesterday.
With that said, one person did make an off-the-cuff remark. As you saw, we (1) quickly sent out a clarification to the group and (2) followed up with the person who made the post…which was clearly an exaggeration.
