Alison Birnbaum, LCSW, has practiced psychotherapy for over 25 years in Connecticut and NYC, helping children and adults overcome emotional challenges and change their behavior. In the public arena, Alison served on the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy’s Anti-Drug Media campaign from its inception in 1999 through 2009, where she participated in the Behavioral Change Expert Panel, created message platforms, and wrote advice columns for parents and teens. As co-founder of ShrinkWrap™, Alison also has been engaged in research for behavior change for Global 2000 companies during the past 15 years. Alison and her husband of 36 years, have two daughters and live in New Canaan, CT.
