Rye Mayor Josh Cohn is calling for residents to step outside of their homes and bang pots together this Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 7pm. The pot banging is to signify appreciation to those on the front lines fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Step out of your front door or hang (safely!) out your window and make some noise for those who are caring for us every day in so many ways,” said Cohn. “It will be a moment, hopefully cacophonous, to join with your neighbors in recognition of those who are making this whole curve-flattening effort possible.”
Noise from leaf blowers is not allowed.
