Rye Beach Pharmacy was highlighted in a WCBS-TV report earlier this week on the COVID vaccine. “[Senior citizens] are very anxious. They are excited, they want to get the shot,” Paula Slater of Rye Beach Pharmacy told WCBS.
The pharmacy is an approved vaccination site but is waiting to receive the Moderna vaccine as the distribution starts from New York State. “We will alert them when we get the vaccine and when scheduling web site are open,” said Pharmacy Manager Ken Giaquinto.
Earlier this week it was announced the Westchester County Center will also open as a vaccination center.
