Rye FD’s union Local 2029 donated $4,000 Soul Ryeders last week. The local Rye non-profit provides personalized resources, programs and community support to people in Rye and the New York Tri-State area impacted by cancer.
Union members raised most of the funds from its annual golf outing this past October. The $4,000 will be added to a $1,200 check that was presented last fall for a total gift of $5,200. Some Local 2029 families have availed themselves of services from Soul Ryeders.
